CFWINDOW USER GROUP (China Coldfusion User Group) is the biggest ColdFusion user group in China founded in 1999 Powered by Softisland. In that year, ColdFusion was just 4 years old, Allaire.Inc was not yet merged into Macromedia, and CFWINDOW USER GROUP did not have its own independent domain name.
It is 2007 now. As time passed, the ColdFusion meets its 11th anniversary, and CFWINDOW has successfully run for over 7 years. Looking back to these days, we, as the earliest ColdFusion developer team in China, feel very lucky to witness the tremendous change that the ColdFusion has developed from a software loaded in several floppy disks to a powerful tool based on the Java Application Server. We also glad to see that the ColdFusion developers, who started from nowhere in China, have become a big community with thousands colleagues throughout the country.
In the past 7 years, CFWINDOW USER GROUP helped a large number of CF developers grow up. We now have more than 30,000 registered users, including CF developers at various levels: juniors and seniors, beginners and masters, curious learners and professional experts. At the sixth anniversary of CFWINDOW USER GROUP, we are making further improvement of our website cfwindow.com. The main code writer of this project is a new CF developer with only 30-day study experience, which indicates how efficient and user-friendly the coldfusion language is. We will continue to offer CF users consultant assistance and project outsourcing service with the support of several senior cfm teams and companies in China.
There are some disadvantages to outsourcing as well. One of these is that outsourcing often eliminates direct communication between a company and its clients. This prevents a company from building solid relationships with their customers, and often leads to dissatisfaction on one or both sides. There is also the danger of not being able to control some aspects of the company, as outsourcing may lead to delayed communications and project implementation. Any sensitive information is more vulnerable, and a company may become very dependent upon its outsource providers, which could lead to problems should the outsource provider back out on their contract suddenly.
While outsourcing may prove highly beneficial for many companies, it also has many drawbacks. It is important that each individual company accurately assess their needs to determine if outsourcing is a viable option. |
